Todd Rundgren
Todd Rundgren has built a legendary career as a musician, songwriter, and performer, constantly pushing the boundaries of rock, pop, and experimental music. He first gained attention in the late 1960s with the psychedelic rock band Nazz before launching a solo career that showcased his ability to blend catchy melodies with innovative production. His 1972 album Something/Anything? became a landmark release, featuring classics like Hello It's Me and I Saw the Light.
Never content to stay in one style, Rundgren embraced progressive rock with his band Utopia, exploring complex arrangements and synthesizer-driven sounds throughout the '70s and '80s. His solo work continued to evolve, incorporating electronic music, a cappella harmonies, and even interactive technology. Albums like A Wizard, a True Star and Nearly Human demonstrated his fearless approach to songwriting and performance.
Though also known for his work as a producer, Rundgren's own music remains his greatest legacy. His ability to reinvent himself while maintaining a devoted fan base has made him one of rock's most enduring figures. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021, he continues to tour and release new music, proving that his influence on modern rock and pop remains as strong as ever.

Eli Young Band
Nearly 25 years since forming in Denton, Texas, multi-platinum country band Eli Young Band has come full circle. The band, consisting of Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones, and Chris Thompson, has transitioned from hometown heroes to global stars, all while staying true to their roots. Returning to their independent beginnings, the band is embracing creative freedom and the spirit that fueled their rise. Their new music, recorded at Panhandle House Studio in Denton-the same place where their breakthrough album Level was born-channels the raw energy of their early days, with tracks like "Home In Hometown" reflecting their deep Texas roots and experience on the road.
As they celebrate their 25th anniversary, the band is energized by the opportunity to make music on their terms, confident in the unique sound they've cultivated together. Without outside pressure or industry influences, they're excited to share songs that come from a place of passion, showing their growth and maturity after more than two decades of making music together. Tracks like "Home In Hometown" are proof of their ability to blend Texas-country traditions with modern influences, offering a reflection on what home really means after years on the road.
The band's return to their roots has allowed them to rediscover the magic that made them pioneers in the first place. It's a new chapter driven by experience, reflecting their journey of growth and the lessons learned along the way. The chemistry and trust among the band members continue to shine through, showing that, even after all these years, their bond remains as strong as ever. As they embrace their legacy, they're excited for what's next, with more new music to come as they continue celebrating their unique place in country music.

Sevendust at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort Your Name: Anaka Sanders
Sevendust has always carved their own path with a unique blend of heavy grooves, unpredictable riffs, and soulful vocals. Since forming in 1994, they've sold over 7 million albums, earned three gold certifications, charted three Top 15 Billboard 200 debuts, and received a GRAMMY® nomination. With a reputation for electrifying live performances, they've played iconic festivals like Woodstock, OZZfest, Shiprocked, and Sonic Temple.
After their highly praised 2020 album Blood & Stone, Sevendust returns with their fourteenth album, Truth Killer, their debut for Napalm Records. The band - Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Clint Lowery (lead guitar), John Connolly (rhythm guitar), Vince Hornsby (bass), and Morgan Rose (drums) focused on reconnecting as friends during the writing process, which led to fresh creativity. Recorded with producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette, the album features a mix of heavy and melodic sounds, as well as new electronic elements.
The album opens with "I Might Let The Devil Win," a slow-burning track that marks a departure from their usual sound, while the closing song, "Fence," brings the intensity Sevendust fans expect. Other standout tracks include "Truth Killer," which critiques society's aversion to the truth, and "Superficial Drug," a commentary on the emptiness of social media culture. With Truth Killer, Sevendust proves they're still taking risks and pushing boundaries, reaffirming their place in rock history.

Mickey Thomas is the owner of the soaring voice that propelled STARSHIP through the decade of the 80's. With his soulful and compelling vocals, Mickey has established himself as one of Rock Music's most recognizable stars.
Mickey made his mark in 1976 as lead vocalist on the mega-hit "Fooled Around And Fell In Love" with The Elvin Bishop Band. George Thorogood & The Destroyers "The Badest Show On Earth" at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort
In a five-decade career fueled by 8,000+ live shows, more than 15 million albums sold, and a global reputation as "the band that plays hot enough to melt the polar icecaps" (Rolling Stone) and "one of the 5 best acts left out of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" (WNBF Binghamton), where can "one of the most iconic bands in rock history" (Rapid City Journal) possibly go from here?
"That's all pretty good for the first 50 years," George Thorogood says with a laugh. "But we keep working harder, digging deeper and playing stronger. Now it's time to go back out there and do some serious rockin'." For George Thorogood & The Destroyers, serious rockin' will always be what they do best. And for 2025, The Baddest Show On Earth Tour will bring the guitar-slinging, amp-blasting, roof-shaking rock party like never before.
George and longtime Destroyers Jeff Simon (drums), Bill Blough (bass), Jim Suhler (guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone) are now taking all the drum-bashing, bass-pounding, sax-wailing, monster guitar energy of the past five decades and pouring it into The Baddest Show On Earth Tour, with "the boogie-blues Sinatra" (Classic Rock History) as its relentless ringmaster. "If the circus makes everyone feel like a kid again, this tour will make you feel like a teenager," George says with a grin. "I consider us to be a musical high-wire act that works without a net, and we'll be bringing all the danger, thrills, and fun that our audiences can handle. Because that's what great rock & roll is all about."
Tickets are $89, $79, $69 or $59 plus tax and an online/phone ticketing fee (this fee is waived when tickets are purchased in the Gift Shop). Tickets in the ADA section are for patrons with mobility disabilities and up to three companions. If companion seating is not available because the ADA section is sold out, RCGR will offer other seats as close as possible to the accessible seat, if available, at the purchase price of the other section.

Iowa Gravel Series Bike Race - Kalona Horseshoe
Kalona is more than just the “quilt capital of Iowa”. It has a deep and long legacy of fantastic roads to travel. Maybe the good folks who put together Jingle GX knew what they were doing when they picked Washington county for much of the course? Maybe it’s the amazing Amish and Mennonite population that keeps these roads beautiful and rustic without the complexity of asphalt? Or, maybe it’s the proximity to Iowa City that raises the general desire for a simple and more community focused environment?
Whatever it is, you need to see it for yourself!
