Hello October

Ideas! Plans! Promotions… OH MY.

Anyone else feel a bit wind blown and yet, the beginning of October is just started! We are in the midst of launching our Annual Kalona Chamber of Commerce meeting as well as getting together the highly requested specialty tours. Sometimes I feel as though business management is this tailored looking suit and fancy looking jewels but in reality— running through the whole process of deadlines, and fun events makes me look as though I am more like a whale in a snuggie.

However, here I am to encourage you to grab a hold of that target towel and say, “No. No. Not today.” Let us acknowledge the prickly parts of the businesses we run, and give them a good old fashioned, “YIPPEE.” That is what I am doing here today!

This October is full of new ideas, special people and a running hard into our Christmas in Kalona. I don’t know about you, but I thrive under pressure. I may look a bit frazzled, but, my goodness we get to create new experiences for all those involved. Let us thank ourselves for being willing to innovate, challange, and push the barriers of our comfort zones this month.

Our teams are running on, our friends are speaking about the excitement and I don’t have quite all the details yet, but soon we will be releasing more info on our specialty tours for October! I can’t wait to fill you all in!
